Milton · Treo · Claro · Spot ZeroI was CFO of Hamilton Housewares from January 2018 until 9 November 2026, when I stepped out to start two ventures, Quantelion and Vision9Strategies. During my tenure, the group, home to Milton, Treo, Pro Cook, SpotZero and Claro, tripled its turnover, while maintaining double-digit profitability. I oversaw the group’s financial strategy, funding new plants in cookware, steel and plastic, through internal accruals. I was responsible for finance, accounts, taxation, legal, IT and secretarial functions across all group companies, including the family office.
Before that I was CFO of B. Braun Medical India and Ahlcon Parenterals and a director of Oyster Medisafe, where I led two acquisitions, one of them a listed company under the new takeover code, turned the Chennai plant cash-positive, and built the first public-private partnership model in dialysis by setting up 60 dialysis centres with the Government of India. Earlier I worked with Ingersoll Rand, Suhail Bahwan Group in Oman, Cadbury India, Tata Steel, ECE Industries and ITC.
My approach is practical. Be a sounding board to the promoter. Build the team that the next stage of growth will need. Protect the company from external threats. Keep funds flowing at the lowest possible cost, keep the effective tax rate below 20 percent, and hold the margin through steady cost reduction and disciplined inventory.
